Rector Park Residences, 333 Rector Place, New York, NY


WLH Consulting and Development LLC was contracted to manage a gut renovation and new construction of a new 228,000-SF, 16-story ultra-luxurious residential condominium located in Battery Park City inLower Manhattan. The developer and design team chose high end finishes such as Italian marble tile and vanities for the bathrooms, Spanish marble kitchen tops and backsplashes, custom cabinets, wood flooring from the Netherlands, Wenga wood paneling, in unit IPOD docking stations, and Waterworks plumbing fixtures. The building amities included a state of the art fitness room, State Of The Art Theater, kids recreation room, business center, roof deck, new entry canopy and revolving doors, high end lobby with 600 gallon salt water fish tank, a bar and books room and new elevators. Of the 174 residential units there was 3 duplex units constructed with outside yards and personal parking using remote motorized gates. All of the units were wired with FIOS, remote thermostats with new PTAC units, 19” TV’s in the bathrooms, low voltage lights, as well as each unit’s personal balcony fit out with IPE decking and railings. The design intent was to give buyers a unit mix of large 4 bedroom units for families as well as 3 bedrooms, 2 bedrooms down to 1 bedroom units and studios.


Regis Royal Restaurant, 21 Rector Place, New York, NY


WLH provided Construction Management Services to the owner from the acquisition of the space through final construction. These services included the hiring of the design professionals and the subcontractors as well as the coordination process from design through to final punch list. The restaurant space is a two level, 7,000 SF kitchen, bar and dining facility. It was completed in 12 months and is currently successfully operating.


Private Residence Condo Fit Out, 200 Albany Street, New York, NY


WLH provided Construction Management Services as well as General Contracting to a private owner for a gut renovation of an 800 SF condo. The project was a design build where WLH facilitated the owners design intent though final construction. The scope of work was the removal of an existing kitchen and bathroom inclusive of cabinets, counter tops, appliances, tile, plumbing fixtures, lights fixtures. Following demo, a complete kitchen was installed which included custom cabinets, marble counter tops with back splash, high end plumbing fixtures, new appliances, new tile floor and lighting. The bathroom was converted from a standard bath tub to a custom shower system with glass partitions, marble floor and walls and custom vanity and medicine cabinets as well as installation of high end plumbing and light fixtures. There was some additional customization consisting of closets, a built-in book shelf and decorative painting of the entire space. The project was completed within two months and exceeded the owner’s expectations.

Private High End Book Store Fit Out, 699 Madison Ave, New York, NY


WLH provided Construction Management Services directly to the owner of a book store that was relocating to a new space. The services rental contract negotiations, site management, and relocation of book shelves and office equipment. This was a design build effort that took close coordinating with the owner and the management of the book store as the transition needed to be completed while maintaining daily operations. The scope of work was a complete demo of the exiting space’s finishes, radiators, lighting, carpet, and a number of partitions. The fit out was completed with customization to lighting, bookshelves, kitchenette, and office furniture. The project was successfully completed in 2 months.

Culinary Institute of Education – New York, NY


WLH Consulting & Development LLC has been contracted to manage the entire design development process with the potential to lead into the construction phase. This is a collaboration effort with Angle Chang of Saemi Design. This project has been extremely successful and a prime example of how WLH utilizes the relationships and resources that come from years of doing business in the construction industry. The design value is approximately $20,000 and a construction value is estimated at $300,000 and has a 4 month design schedule.
